Your Child Isn't Listening? Islam Gave the Solution 1400 Years Ago
1. Give Sadaqah With Their Name
Many parents noticed behavior change when giving charity on behalf of the child.
Example:
"Ya Allah, I give this sadaqah for the guidance of my child. Soften their heart."
Charity removes unseen blocks and anger from homes.
2. Avoid Cursing or Saying Negative Words
Many mothers unknowingly make dua against their child:
- "You'll never change!"
- "You're always stubborn!"
- "You're a headache!"
These words get accepted at times of anger.
Instead say:
- "Allah guide you."
- "Allah put noor in your heart."
Even while upset.
3. Give Them Responsibilities, Not Only Orders
The Prophet SAW-KN involved children he didn't only command them.
- Ask for help instead of control.
- Praise small efforts.
- Let them feel capable.
Respect creates obedience.
4. Control What They Watch & Who They're With
Disobedience is often imported.
- Monitor friends
- Limit screens
- Keep Islamic reminders playing at home
Bad company hardens the heart.
