5 ADVICE YOU SHOULD NEVER TAKE FROM ANYONE, EVEN IF IT’S COMING FROM YOUR PARENTS
1. “Stay where you are, it’s safer.”
Safety is good, but stagnation is dangerous. Many parents fear risk because they’ve tasted failure , but your destiny is different. If you stay “safe,” you’ll never grow, never explore, never rise.
2. “Don’t chase big dreams, they’re unrealistic.”
Most people call your dreams unrealistic because they couldn’t achieve theirs. Listen to this advice and you’ll shrink your life to fit their fears.
3. “Follow the traditional path; it’s the only way to succeed.”
The world has changed. The internet made millionaires out of ordinary people. Blindly following old templates can trap you in poverty, stress, and dissatisfaction.
4. “Ignore your mental health, life is hard for everyone.”
This is the worst advice of all. Ignoring your emotions turns you into a silent warrior who dies inside. Healing is not weakness. Awareness is not overreacting. Protection is not pride.
5. “Endure any relationship; marriage/loyalty means suffering.”
Many parents stayed where they were not loved. That doesn’t mean you should repeat it. Suffering is not loyalty. Endurance is not love. If something is damaging you, you are allowed to walk away.
DEAR READER,
- Not every advice is wisdom. Some are wounds wrapped as guidance.
- Listen, but filter everything through your purpose, your peace, and your future.
If this helped you, share it with someone who needs it.
